At times, many organizations have to resolve conflicts—either internally or with other stakeholders and organizations.
While each situation is unique, there are some steps that are generally common. These include:
- Understanding the perspectives of all parties
- Determining the potential “deal maker” or “deal breaker” positions
- Designing a process that gives all parties a sense of fairness in issues consideration
